Where should you eat near Sunshine Suites?
It depends on the night. Here are a few that cover the range, from an easy local dinner to a special meal out, with what each is good for.
| Spot | Where | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Rylu’s Bistro | Santa Clara | Local American and Mediterranean |
| Xetava Gardens Cafe | Kayenta Art Village | Garden patio, red rock views |
| Wood Ash Rye | Downtown St. George | Seasonal, chef-driven dinner |
| Cafe Rio | St. George | Fast, family Mexican |
| Harmon’s deli and bakery | Santa Clara | Quick food for the whole group |
What is the closest place to eat?
For a sit-down meal, Rylu’s Bistro right in Santa Clara is the closest local favorite, with contemporary American and Mediterranean plates. For something quick, Harmon’s in Santa Clara has a deli and bakery that is genuinely useful when you need to feed a crowd without cooking. Both are just minutes from the house.
Where can a big group eat together?
For a large group, the easiest plan is often to grab and bring back: order from a fast-casual spot like Cafe Rio or pick up trays from Harmon’s, then eat around the big table at the house. When you want everyone out for one nice dinner, call ahead, since the better St. George restaurants fill up on weekends and during event weeks.
Are there options for a special night out?
Yes. Wood Ash Rye in downtown St. George is a chef-driven, seasonal restaurant that works for a celebration, and Xetava Gardens Cafe in the Kayenta Art Village is a beautiful spot surrounded by red rock and desert gardens. Both are an easy drive and worth a reservation.
Should you still cook at the house?
For a group, mixing it up usually wins: cook breakfast and a couple of dinners in the full kitchen to save money, and go out for the rest. See what the kitchen is set up for on what’s provided, and the rest of the area on things to do.
