One supervised house
Church and Youth Group Lodging Near St. George
Home / Groups › Church & Youth Groups
Housing a church or youth group is mostly about two things: keeping everyone together where the chaperones can see them, and keeping the cost per person reasonable. A block of hotel rooms fails on both. Sunshine Suites is one 7 bedroom house that sleeps up to 20, with big common areas, a full kitchen, and a cost that splits down to about thirty dollars a person. Here is why it works for a supervised group.
The short version
- One supervised house, not scattered hotel rooms
- Sleeps up to 20 in six suites and a bunk room
- About $30 a person a night at full capacity
- Full kitchen to feed the group cheaply
- Common areas for meetings and evenings together
Is the house good for a supervised youth group?
Yes, that is its strength, and it is the main reason youth and church groups book it. Everyone stays under one roof, so chaperones are not running between hotel floors to do a head count at night. The house sleeps up to 20 across six private suites and a bunk room, which keeps the kids in known spots while the leaders have rooms of their own. The shared living and dining areas give the group one place to come together for a meeting, a devotional, a meal, or just a movie, and a full kitchen lets you feed everyone for far less than eating out. At full capacity it works out to roughly $30 a person a night, which is hard to beat for a supervised, all-together setup. Here is how the house lines up with what a group leader actually needs.
| Group need | At Sunshine Suites |
|---|---|
| Keep everyone together | One house, sleeps up to 20 |
| Chaperone oversight | Shared living areas, not scattered rooms |
| Affordable per person | About $30 a person at 20 guests |
| Feed the group | Full kitchen and one long table |
| Evening gathering | Living room and a patio with a fire pit |
What does it cost per person?
The whole home rents from $599 a night, so at 20 people that is about thirty dollars a person, usually less than a hotel room each. Cooking in the house instead of eating every meal out saves a group even more. Book direct and you skip the listing-site service fees too. The math is on the large groups page and book direct and save.
Is there space for the group to gather?
Yes. The open living and dining areas hold the whole group, the long table seats everyone for a meal or a meeting, and the covered patio with a fire pit is a natural spot for an evening together. It is a real house to gather in, and the youth leaders we host say the evening fire-pit time is what the kids remember.
What is there for the group to do?
The resort water park is a walk away, and Snow Canyon, Zion, and Tuacahn are all close for a day out or a service-project base. There is a full rundown on things to do near Sunshine Suites.
