Pick the right fit

Which Paradise Village Home Is Right for Your Group?

Home  /  Plan Your Stay › Which Home Is Right

Paradise Village at Zion has rental homes in a range of sizes, and the honest truth is that the best one depends on your group. Sunshine Suites is a 7-bedroom home built for large groups of sixteen to twenty. If your group is smaller, a smaller home at the resort will usually cost less and still give you the pools and lazy river. We would rather help you land in the right size than talk you into too much house. Here is a simple way to choose.

The short version

  • Big group (14 to 20): a 6 to 7 bedroom home like Sunshine Suites
  • One or two families (8 to 14): a 4 to 5 bedroom home
  • Small group (2 to 8): a 2 to 3 bedroom home
  • Same for all: resort pools and lazy river are shared
  • Honest take: pick the size you need, not the biggest

How do you pick the right home at Paradise Village?

Start with your headcount, then match it to bedrooms, planning for one bedroom per couple or pair plus a bunk room for the kids. Three sizes cover most groups at Paradise Village. A big group of about 14 to 20 wants a six or seven bedroom home like Sunshine Suites, where every couple gets a private room. One or two families of roughly 8 to 14 fit well in a four or five bedroom home. A small group of 2 to 8 does fine in a two or three bedroom place. Whatever the size, the resort pools, lazy river, and courts are shared, so the difference between homes is really about bedrooms, baths, and how much private space your group needs. Our honest take is to size up if you are close to a cutoff, since the extra suite pays for itself in privacy. Here is the quick guide.

Your groupHome size to look forWhy it fits
2 to 8 guests2 to 3 bedroomsLower cost, still roomy
8 to 14 guests4 to 5 bedroomsGood for one or two families

When is Sunshine Suites the right fit?

When you have a big group. Sunshine Suites has 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms and sleeps up to 20, with six of the bedrooms being king master suites that each have a private bathroom. That layout is built for reunions, multi-family trips, and large groups where everyone wants their own space at night but one big kitchen and table by day. If you are bringing sixteen to twenty people, this is the size that keeps you all under one roof. See the layout on the home page.

When might a smaller home be better for you?

If your group is eight or ten people, a 7-bedroom home is more than you need, and a smaller home will cost less per night. There is no sense paying for bedrooms you will not use. A 4 or 5 bedroom home still gives a couple of families plenty of room and the same resort access. We say this plainly because the goal is a trip that fits, not the biggest booking.

Do all the homes include the resort amenities?

The resort amenities are shared, so the size of your home does not change your access to them. Guests at Paradise Village can use the Kid’s Cove lazy river and splash pad and the heated pools and hot tubs no matter which home they book. The choice of home is really about bedrooms, bathrooms, and indoor space, not the water park. See what is on site on the Paradise Village guide.

How do you check availability and decide?

Tell us your dates and headcount and we will give you a straight answer on whether Sunshine Suites is the right size for your group. If it is, we will get you booked; if a smaller home fits better, we would rather you know. Send your dates or compare the value of a home versus hotels on our home or hotel guide.
