Team offsite

A Corporate Retreat and Team Offsite House

Home  /  Groups › Corporate Retreats

The point of an offsite is to get the team out of the office and into one room, then let them blow off steam together after. A house does that better than a hotel conference center. Sunshine Suites is a 7 bedroom home near St. George with private suites, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a long table to work around, and it puts red-rock hikes, golf, and Zion minutes away for the bonding half. We host a few company offsites a year, usually midweek, so here is how a team uses it.

The short version

  • Sleeps up to 20, a private suite per person or pair
  • High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house
  • One long table to meet and work around
  • Golf, hikes, and Zion minutes away for team time
  • Weekdays often open, from $599 a night

What makes Sunshine Suites work for a team offsite?

It gives a team both modes in one place: a shared space to actually work, and private rooms to step away for a call or to recharge. Six king suites mean nobody is bunking with a coworker, the open living and dining areas hold the whole group for a working session around one long table, and the high-speed Wi-Fi handles a room full of laptops at once. The house sleeps up to 20, so most teams fit without splitting across hotels, and weeknights are often open from $599 a night, which keeps an offsite affordable. The other piece is what is right outside: golf, easy hikes, and Zion are all minutes away, so team time does not require a long drive. Here is what an offsite needs and how the house covers each part.

Is there space to actually work?

Yes. The long dining table works as a conference table, the open living areas give the group room to break out, and the private suites are there when someone needs to take a call or focus. With high-speed Wi-Fi and central air, it is a comfortable place to put in a real working day, then close the laptops and move to the patio, which is how the teams we host tend to run it.

What can the team do together?

The area is built for it. There is golf nearby, easy red-rock hikes at Snow Canyon about ten minutes out, a Zion day trip under an hour away, and the resort pool and hot tub right at the house. A team dinner around the table or a night at a Tuacahn show rounds it out. See things to do near Sunshine Suites.

How big a team fits?

Up to 20, across 12 beds and six private suites. That covers most leadership teams, a department offsite, or a small company retreat. The per-person cost is on the large groups page.

How do we book a retreat?

Send your dates and headcount through contact or call +1 801-400-9274. Weekdays are often open even when weekends are booked, which can make midweek offsites easy to schedule.
