If you are trying to get the whole family under one roof near Zion, this is the kind of place we built Sunshine Suites to be. It is a 7 bedroom, 8 bath home at Paradise Village at Zion in Santa Clara, Utah, and it sleeps up to 20 people. Six couples each get a private king suite with their own bathroom, the kids take the bunk room, and everyone shares one kitchen and one long table. The resort lazy river is about a hundred steps from the door. Here is how families usually use the house, what it works out to per person, and why one home tends to beat a row of hotel rooms for a reunion.
The short version
- Sleeps up to 20, 7 bedrooms, 8 baths
- Six private king suites, a bathroom for every couple
- One kitchen and one long table for family meals
- About 100 steps to the resort lazy river
- From $599 a night, roughly $30 a person at 20 guests
How many people can a family reunion bring?
The house sleeps up to 20 across twelve beds in seven bedrooms, which is the sweet spot for a multi-generational reunion. Six of the seven bedrooms are king master suites, each with a private bath, and the seventh is a bunk room for the kids. That setup is exactly what makes three generations under one roof work: grandparents, parents, and couples can all close their own door at night, while the little ones bunk together. With eight bathrooms, the morning rush never becomes a bottleneck. During the day everyone shares one kitchen and one long table for the meals that are the whole point of a reunion, and the resort lazy river and pools are about a hundred steps away. At full capacity it works out to roughly $30 a person a night, from $599, which keeps a big gathering affordable. Here is how the home fits a reunion.
| Space | Beds | Sleeps |
|---|---|---|
| Six king master suites | 6 kings | 12 adults |
| Bunk room | Bunk beds | Up to 6 kids |
| Whole home | 12 beds | Up to 20 |
What does a reunion cost per person?
The whole home rents from $599 a night. Split across a big family, that comes down fast. At 20 guests it is about $30 a person a night, which is usually less than everyone booking their own hotel room. If you book straight through us instead of a listing site, you skip the service fees those sites add at checkout. The numbers are laid out on the rates page, and the fee comparison is on book direct and save.
Why rent one house instead of booking hotel rooms?
For a reunion of 16 to 20, one house wins on togetherness, family meals, and cost. Hotel rooms scatter everyone across floors with no kitchen and nowhere to gather. Here is the side by side.
| For a reunion | Sunshine Suites | A block of hotel rooms |
|---|---|---|
| Everyone together | One roof, shared living and dining | Spread across floors |
| Family meals | Full kitchen, one long table | Restaurant tabs, separate tables |
| Private bath per couple | Yes, six en-suites | Yes, but separated |
| Water park | About 100 steps away | Varies by hotel |
What is there for different ages to do?
That is the part reunion organizers thank us for most. The little kids live at the lazy river and splash pad next door. Teens and adults can hike Snow Canyon about ten minutes away or drive to Zion in under an hour. Grandparents can sit on the covered patio with the hot tub and fire pit and still be in the middle of everything. There is a full rundown on things to do near Sunshine Suites.
How do we hold our reunion dates?
Send us the dates and how many people, and we will reply with availability and a quote, usually within a day. You can also call or text +1 801-400-9274. Reunions book out early for summer and holidays, so it helps to reach out well ahead. The FAQ covers check-in, the pet policy, and capacity.
