A lot of groups come to this area towing something, a boat for Sand Hollow or an RV for the dunes, so parking is a fair question. The honest answer is that Paradise Village is a residential resort with parking rules, so a big rig or boat trailer needs a little planning. Here is what to know, where to put the toys, and what to confirm before you arrive.
The short version
- Cars: ample parking at the home
- RV or boat: confirm space with us before you book
- Towing for the lake: Sand Hollow has ramps and RV camping
- Resort: residential community with HOA parking rules
- Plan ahead: ask early so there are no surprises
Where do you park an RV or boat?
It depends on the size and how long you need it there. Here is the honest rundown for cars, trailers, and the toys you are towing for the lake.
| What you are parking | Where | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Cars | At the home | Ample parking for the group |
| RV or boat trailer | Confirm with us first | Residential resort with parking rules |
| RV camping | Sand Hollow State Park | Full hook-up and standard sites, ~30 min |
| Boat launch | Sand Hollow Reservoir | Ramps on site, warm water |
Can you park an RV at Paradise Village?
Because Paradise Village is a residential resort community, RV and trailer parking follows the resort and HOA rules, and space is not guaranteed. That does not mean it is impossible, it means you should ask us before you book so we can tell you what works for your rig and your dates. The last thing you want is to show up towing a trailer with nowhere to put it.
Where should you keep a boat for Sand Hollow?
If your trip is built around the water, the simplest plan is often to base the boat near the lake. Sand Hollow State Park, about thirty minutes away, has boat ramps and RV and tent camping right by the reservoir, so some groups camp the rig there and use the house as the main base. Is there parking for the whole group’s cars?
Yes. A group traveling in several cars has ample parking at the home, which is one less thing to worry about when sixteen to twenty people arrive in waves. It is only the oversized vehicles, RVs and boat trailers, that need a quick conversation first.
What should you confirm before you arrive?
Just tell us what you are bringing. If you have an RV, a boat, or an oversized trailer, send us a note with the dimensions and your dates and we will tell you the best option before you commit. A little planning means no surprises at check-in.
